Bill Cantey founded Cantey & Company in 1977. Bill’s son, Billy Cantey, took over as Property Management-In-Charge in 2003 and President in 2015. He heads ups a full-time staff of eight people. We specialize in managing houses, apartments and duplexes in the Greater Columbia area. You will find our rental properties located in areas such as downtown Columbia, Shandon, Rosewood, Forest Acres, Harbison, and the Northeast.

Cantey & Company is a full-service property management firm. We advertise our properties, find and screen tenants, execute and maintain proper rental agreements, and handle all of the day to day maintenance and repairs.

After going through our website and finding a property that meets your needs, we advise you to ride by the unit to check it out in person. If it is what you are looking for, someone from our office will meet you at the property to walk through it with you. You are then ready to apply and move in.

Looking for a Property Manager: When you use Cantey & Company to manage your property, you will feel comfortable knowing that your investment is being handled professionally and properly. Whether you want us to handle everything or simply collect a rent check, we will be happy to customize our services for you. We tailor our advertising for your property. We find and screen tenants, running credit checks, rental references and employment verifications. We personally show your property to the prospective tenants.
